This is very interesting! I seems strange that Studio would have problems with png-files as they can be used with no problem with the image stimulus and we actually use the png format to store the web page screen shots. I will look in to this further. Thank you for getting back to us with a solution!

As far as I know, it should also be possible to make your own screen captures of all the web pages in study and then switch them with captures made by Tobii Studio (or in my case, Clearview). They are all stored in /Bitmaps subfolder of any study.

Tobii Studio uses an Add-on in Internet Explorer to obtain information on visited webpages, scrolling and content. At this time, we only have such an Add-on for Internet Explorer, not for Firefox or Opera.
