  • Re: System freezes in "Replay" mode

Hi Amanda, It sounds as if you have a codec pack installed on your computer, interfering with the Tobii Studio codecs. Check if you have for example the K-Lite codec pack installed, if so, simply uninstall it and download and install any codecs you might need separately. If the problem persist, please contact us directly at ...

  • Re: Is Studio Logger Required for Remote Viewing?

If you are using a laptop with only one video output, the Remote Logger is most likely your best option for controlling a test from another room. There are solutions out there that streams the screen through Ethernet but we have not tested them together with Tobii Studio as of yet. The Logger is available for Tobii Studio Enterprise users only. ...

  • Re: Tobii Studio Browser Help Object (IERec2.dll)

The IERec2.dll is a plugin loaded by Internet Explorer. Tobii Studio uses this plugin to monitor what webpages are visited, and store an bitmap snapshot of the webpages. It's is only active when a Tobii Studio recording is active - That is, if Internet Explorer is started normally, IERec2.dll is loaded but does not execute anything. IERerc2.dll ...

  • Tobii Studio Browser Help Object (IERec2.dll)

I work for an agency that is trying to purchase the new Tobii Studio Enterprise Software along with the T120 and X120 hardware units. However, the approval process has come to a stop because the software will not pass the Federal Desktop Core Compliance Standards (FDCC). The problem is that our firewall stops the Internet Explorer 7 add-on Browser ...

  • Re: Multiple Gaze Plots for Screen Recordings

Hi Michael, Thanks for the above advice. However, after spending a bit more time on this I've realised that the problem I have with this data is that I have a group of recordings which are made up of different images at different scales for each participant (they were orientating around a digital map so were able to pan and zoom freely). Apart ...

  • Multiple Gaze Plots for Screen Recordings

Hi, I am currently trying to analyse a series of screen recordings in Tobii Studio where each participant has been able to orientate freely around a digital program. I have split up the data into scenes and, for the first scene, I would like to group all the gaze plots for all the recordings and present them on that fixed scene image. I ...

  • Re: Feature requests for Tobii Studio

Hello all,I post some feature-requests as I promised to Thomas that visited us yesterday and we had a great discussion. From the existing posts for feature-requests we would also like to have the Firefox support. From my experience it would be nice to be able to:  calculate the following additional gaze data metrics: Repeat fixations ...

  • How to manually change the background image for webrecordings

Sometimes, users would like to change the (background) image of a webrecording. Just like in the scene tool (used with screen recordings or video stimuli) where it is necessary to change the moment in time of when the scene image is taken, users find it necessary to exchange the background image of the webrecording. A common reason could be that ...
